In late 2019, we gathered with community advocates to laydown a chalk outline where a pedestrian was killed in 2018 and the first half of 2019, we marked 91 outlines. Three of the 91 were placed by the mothers of children who died.
Brad Horn, Nevada State Photographer, based at NDOT, has created a documentary about the project, we invite you to join us at the premiere, on Thursday, March 18th at 10 a.m. on Zoom. Please use the link above to register for the event
The program begins at 10 a.m. with the film beginning at about 10:20. The screening will be followed by a discussion about the pedestrian issue and ideas to help make our community safer for all road users.
