The Great Pumpkin Rides Again
Tuesday, October 23rd is the annual Pumpkin in the Crosswalk, this year taking place on Decatur Boulevard at Palmyra Avenue from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. This location is a school crossing zone that has no flashers, just signs marking the zone, where it is difficult, even with a crossing guard, to get safely across the street. This location is on the list for a full build out and flashers later this school year through CC Public Works. And here’s a treat for you…. Pay special attention this month because LVMPD is stepping up pedestrian enforcement as their focus area. With shorter days and the coming time change, this is the most dangerous time of the year for those on foot!.
