About Southern Nevada Trauma System
The Southern Nevada Trauma System is a coordinated injury response network that promotes injury prevention and provides specialized care for those who are injured.
The four components of a comprehensive trauma system include 1) injury prevention programs, 2) prehospital care, 3) acute trauma care, and 4) rehabilitation services.
Board & Committees
The mission of the Regional Trauma Advisory Board and its subcommittees is to support the Health Officer’s role to ensure a high quality system of care for trauma victims.
The Clark County School District Police Department
About the CCSD Police Department
The Clark County School District Police Department is a recognized police agency dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment conducive to learning.
Currently, the CCSD Police Department has approximately 150 sworn officers patrolling the School District's properties, including two officers assigned to every high school in the Las Vegas valley. Patrol officers are also assigned to each region and respond to calls for service as needed.
The Clark County School District Police Department works hand-in-hand with school administrations, community outreach programs, child and family services, charitable youth organizations, and with other local police agencies to ensure the well-being and safety of our students.
