Greetings! Welcome back to Pedsafe.Vegas and our exciting Save A Life, Win A MacBook contest for 2024! We're delighted to have you on board as we embark on another year of creativity and awareness. Get ready to make a difference and showcase your talent to the entire Las Vegas Valley.
At the conclusion of this competition, one outstanding student will win an Apple MacBook, and their winning poster will grace bus shelters across our vibrant city. Additionally, another talented individual will claim an Apple iPad, with their artwork prominently displayed inside buses traversing the town. We can't wait to see the impact your creativity will have on our community.
Here are some essential tips to guide you on your journey:
For MacBook Aspirants: If you're aiming for the MacBook, your task is to design a poster meant to captivate the attention of passersby at bus shelters. Remember, your poster must be in portrait format (taller than it is wide) and easily comprehensible for drivers cruising at 40 miles per hour.
For iPad Enthusiasts: If the iPad is calling your name, tailor your messaging accordingly. Create a poster in landscape format (wider than it is tall) filled with information that will engage and intrigue passengers inside a moving bus.
In addition to these exciting prizes, we're planning art shows and displays to showcase the top 20 entries. As a bonus, we intend to produce a calendar featuring the top 14 poster submissions. Let your imagination run wild – you're free to design your poster using any medium, from traditional tools like pencils, paint, and crayons to cutting-edge options like CAD designs and graphic arts!

NOTE: The size of the paper containing your finished poster is very important for printing.
Maximum Bus Stop Poster Size = 14 inches wide X 20 inches tall
Maximum Inside Bus Poster Size = 17 inches wide X 11 inches tall
